Interior Design That Fits How You Live Now
And into the future
Interior design shouldn’t feel overwhelming or out of reach. It should feel like relief. Like clarity. Like someone finally understands what you’re trying to do and can help you do it properly.
Designing your home isn’t about chasing trends or creating a space that looks good for one moment. It’s about understanding how you live, what’s working, and what isn’t and then making thoughtful decisions that make your home feel better every day.
The clients I work with aren’t looking for drama. They’re looking for clarity, confidence, and a home that reflects who they are and what they need right now — without the stress of managing it all themselves.
That’s exactly what I offer.
Meet Chrissie
I’m Chrissie Hart, an interior designer based in Toorak, Melbourne, with over 15 years of experience helping clients create calm, personal homes that feel lived-in, not over-styled.
After years of working behind the scenes, I started my own practice so I could work one-on-one with clients who wanted support they could trust, not just design that looked good in photos. I don’t have a “signature look.” I bring experience, warmth, and practical thinking and design spaces that feel right for you.
Most of my clients come to me because they’re feeling stuck, stretched thin, or ready to stop second-guessing. They want someone to take the pressure off, to guide them through the process with care and confidence, and to create a space that feels considered, functional, and beautifully finished.
If you’d like to hear more about my approach, or just want real, useful insight into what actually goes into creating a well-designed home, I co-host a podcast called The Design Duet. It’s honest, thoughtful, and designed to make you feel more confident in your design decisions, wherever you’re at.
